SMCI TRI

Come and join us for the first ever Sea Mills Community Initiatives Triathlon!

Saturday 4th July in Sea Mills and across the wider area!

Join in and help us to:

- Raise awareness of  SMCI!

- Raise much needed funds so SMCI can keep doing brilliant things!

- Raise your heart rate! Get active out in our community.

- Raise a smile! Have fun with family and friends.

We hope SMCI Tri gives people the opportunity to join in and get active, whatever their ability! SMCI Tri will keep the classic activities of swimming, cycling and running, but this is not your traditional triathlon!

  • Participate individually, or as a team/family (max. 6 people)

  • Select the Tri distance which will be a challenge for you or your team: Choose from SprintOlympic or Half Ironman

Distance Cycle Run Swim
Sprint 20km 5km 400m
Olympic 40km 10km 1.5km
1/2 Iron Man 90km 21.1km 1.9km
  • Complete the discipline distances by yourself, or share the load among team members so everyone can contribute as they are able

  • It’s flexible! Suggested routes available for running and cycling or follow your own.

  • SMCI Tri is based on trust and integrity, it’s down to participants to log their distances

  • We’re unable to offer marshalling, route marking and timing (hey, maybe next year!?), so each team or participant needs to be self-supported. No recovery vehicles, sorry!

  • It should be fun, it should be a challenge, but you’re only racing against yourselves!

Please see our information pack for all the details! We hope you will find the information pack helpful but if you have any further questions please do ask via thecafeonthesquare@gmail.com.

SMCI needs you! Raise funds to support our work in the community! There’s a suggested donation to cover the event costs and we’re live on JustGiving for individual fundraising pages to be set up too!
